Sometimes I find it easier to connect with my students if I offer some information about myself. I am a graduate from
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore where I studied English and Communications. For a year, I worked with the National
Park Service in Topeka, KS as a technology assistant for the Brown v. The Board of Education site. While working there
I came in contact with several people involved and effected by the case. At the end of my term, I felt inspired
to teach and give back to Prince George's County.
As a product of this county, it is very important to me that my students excel in life. Remember, I can only
help students who will help themselves.
Good Luck to you this year!!!
